Portrait Insight

May 17, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm UTC+5.5

YPS Meet Live | May 17, Sun | 5:30 PM | YPS Official Facebook page

Our next YPS meet is by Mr. Raju A K who will present an insight into Portraiture.
Lighting faces is a foundation that opens doors to light any varied subject. Because human faces are watched, scrutinised and evaluated closely by all, flaws are caught instantly. While we see pictures of other species being lit, mistakes in their lighting is not objected to, either by the subjects, or any of it’s well wishers. Don’t forget Photography started because portrait painters and artists wanted a reference outline to make their portraits look more authentic. Let’s talk about the evolution, requirements and types of portraits and later apply it to any genre of photography.
Join us this Sunday to hear and learn from this exceptional, thought provoking photographer who will up your bench mark!

About the Speaker

Mr. Raju A K
Professional Photographer

Raju A K

Raju A K has three professions to keep him going. Firstly, closest to his heart is advertising photography catering to agencies and direct clients. Secondly, he is a Director of the BDM Co Pvt. Ltd. a family company involved in developing real estates. Finally, he consults as a Chief Naturalist to boutique resorts around the periphery of forested areas to study, observe, record and train the resort personnel to balance the wildlife activities without disturbing the flora and fauna.

In his free time he travels to breathe pure oxygen and to shoot wildlife and nature.

His extensive travel in the country and abroad to learn from people and professionals has widened his perspective of photography, narrowing it down to minute details that add up to make a picture.  He loves to experiment with light and cameras and ends up building his own proprietary equipment.
