About the Speaker
Mr. S R Mandal, EFIAP, ARPS, FFIP, Hon. FICS, Hon. FSWAN, Hon. FIP
An eminent photo artist and a well know photographer, Mr. Mandal’s works have been exhibited in more than 50 countries all over the world. He has won over 1250 Acceptances and 250 Awards from different National and International Salons. He is winner of multiple Lalit Kala Academy Awards.
A 1951 Calcutta born, commerce graduate started pictorial photography in 1980. All his photographs are Monochromatic and surrealistic in nature and the same has been manually composed and blended without any digital improvisation.
Apart from participating in different Exhibitions his solo/ one man show ‘Renaissance’ has been showcased in different places.
Known as a vivid photo critic and a versatile jury, participated in more than 400 National & International Salons / Exhibitions and in different photo competitions including several Lalit Kala Academy Awards.
He is an Executive Committee Member of Photographic Association of Bengal.
He has also delivered lectures and educated young generation with techniques of modern photography in several workshops organized by different photographic organization. His continuous endeavour to learn and share with present generation helped more than 100 successful candidates to achieve EFIAP, AFIAP, ARPS, AIIPC, FFIP, ESFIAP, GPA, PESGSPC, MFIP, ESFIP and other fellow distinctions in last 40 years.
