Slideshow: Reverse Eye

To celebrate World Photography Day we have an unique Slideshow, ‘Reverse Eye‘, by renowned photographer Shri A K Raju on Sunday, August 18 at 11.30 am

A K RajuShri A K Raju, will talk and present his pictures in two parts:
The first is a series of pictures made and submitted through the journey of Better Photography – Mercedes Benz competition.  From the preliminaries to being a semi-finalist that took him to Chickmangalur; then as one of the three finalists that took him to Naldhera in Himalayas of Himachal and subsequently winning the second place from among the 300 odd participating photographers, “Shooting cars” as he says … “needs a Reverse Eye”… and how his previous professional shoots of cars helped him through. Let us all hear it from the horse about the ‘Reverse Eye’ and see the images that took him to the coveted winning place.
The second part is quite in contrast to the first half, taking us deep into the jungle, images from his stint as a ‘Chief Naturalist’ to record and document the flora and fauna to promote Eco-tourism in the undulated forest regions of Nilgiris, Semi-rain forests of Karwar and presently in the dense rain forests in Valparai of the Anamalai Tiger Reserve.  His long sojourns in the forested regions have yielded quite a few interesting species of Mammals, Birds, Amphibians, Insects and Spiders.
