SUMMARY:YPS Workshop - Outdoor Portrait Photography by Asif & Satish
DESCRIPTION:YPS Workshop | JUL 22 & 23 | Venkatappa Art Gallery\nWe always think of studios and lights when it comes to portraits of people\, though most of us take pictures of people in broad daylight. Mr. Mohammed Arfan Asif\, YPS Hon Member residing in Dubai\, has taken many award-winning images using naturally available ambient light. See Mr. Asif’s website for more pictures. \nIn this workshop\, Mr. Asif along with Mr. Satish\, President\, YPS\, will demonstrate and let you practice some of the techniques that they use effectively to produce those stunning portraits using natural day light as the source. \nThe workshop will be spread over 2 early-mornings starting at 7am and ending with discussions by around 10am. YPS plans to use models or mannequins to demonstrate techniques of lighting in highlights and shadows to produce those pleasing pictures. \nParticipants are encouraged to bring their cameras with portrait lenses (70mm to 200mm) to participate in practical sessions. \nThe workshop comes at a nominal cost of Rs. 1000 for both the days covering breakfast.  Registration and Payment is online. \nThe workshop is offered exclusively for YPS Members. It is easy to become a member of YPS by Applying Online. \nRegistrations are closed. \nYou can Whatsapp Vikas Sastry on +919945244055 with your Name and YPS Membership ID if you are interested to  participate and we will get back to you in case there are any cancellations. \nRegister for the Workshop
