SUMMARY:YPS International Salon 2019 - Open Judging
DESCRIPTION:YPS Salon | July 19-21 9:30 AM | JP Nagar Cultural Association\nThe YPS Salon will stop accepting images on July 16\, Midnight\, Alaska Time. We thank all those who participated. The YPS Salon Committee wishes them all success. \nThe YPS Open Judging for the 6 sections will be held for 3 days from July 19th\, Friday at JP Nagar Cultural Association. This year we have Digital and Print sections totaling to 6 sections.  \nAs always\, all the sections will be judged using YPS Open Judging process in which the judging can be viewed by anyone. An open score board will display the scores for each picture as they are being scored. \nHere is the schedule by day. S R Mandal.\nOur next YPS Meet is a slideshow by Mr. S R Mandal on “Signatures”. \nAbout the Speaker\nMr. S R Mandal\, EFIAP\, ARPS\, FFIP\, Hon. FICS\, Hon. FSWAN\, Hon. FIP \n\n\n\n \nAn eminent photo artist and a well know photographer\, Mr. Mandal’s works have been exhibited in more than 50 countries all over the world. He has won over 1250 Acceptances and 250 Awards from different National and International Salons. He is winner of multiple Lalit Kala Academy Awards. \nA 1951 Calcutta born\, commerce graduate started pictorial photography in 1980. All his photographs are Monochromatic and surrealistic in nature and the same has been manually composed and blended without any digital improvisation. \nApart from participating in different Exhibitions his solo/ one man show ‘Renaissance’ has been showcased in different places. \nKnown as a vivid photo critic and a versatile jury\, participated in more than 400 National & International Salons / Exhibitions and in different photo competitions including several Lalit Kala Academy Awards. \nHe is an Executive Committee Member of Photographic Association of Bengal. \nHe has also delivered lectures and educated young generation with techniques of modern photography in several workshops organized by different photographic organization. His continuous endeavour to learn and share  with present generation helped more than 100 successful candidates to achieve EFIAP\, AFIAP\, ARPS\, AIIPC\, FFIP\, ESFIAP\, GPA\, PESGSPC\, MFIP\, ESFIP and other fellow distinctions in last 40 years. \n-YPS Executive Committee
