SUMMARY:Stepping Into Salons
DESCRIPTION:YPS Saturday Meet | Salon Participation | Google MeetPresentation and Talk by:Ms Anitha Mysore‘Stepping Into Salons’ is a practical\, no-stress talk for photographers who are new to salons. It’s about more than just the image—it covers how to prepare your work\, present it well\, and understand what salons are really looking for. The focus is on building confidence\, avoiding common slip-ups\, and helping you feel ready to submit your images with pride instead of second-guessing yourself \n\n\n\n\n\n About: Anitha MysoreFrom capturing family moments to exploring every facet of fine art and salon photography\, Anitha Mysore’s journey behind the lens has been one of passion and persistence. A true tech whiz\, she has earned distinctions from most of the world’s leading photographic bodies and has been invited as a jury member for many national and international salons\, respected for her discerning eye. Her own photographic journey has brought her over 9\,000 acceptances and 900 awards\, with her works exhibited in more than 60 countries. Drawn especially to nature\, travel\, and landscapes\, she continues to be fascinated by the art of photography. A proud moment came when three of her photographs from Shravanabelagola were chosen to adorn the domestic transfer corridor of T2 at Kempegowda International Airport\, Bengaluru—a fitting tribute to her creative vision. At YPS\, Anitha currently serves as a Director on the Executive Committee.  As the Interclub Representative of YPS\, Anitha has led the society to remarkable accolades over the last few years. SUMMARY:Seeing Beyond The Obvious
DESCRIPTION:YPS Saturday Meet | Feb 21\, 2026 | Different Perspectives In Photography | Google Meet By: Ashwini Kumar BhatSeeing Beyond the Obvious is a reflective exploration of photography as a way of seeing in a time of visual abundance. Through a personal lens\, the talk considers attention\, repetition\, restraint\, and the quiet evolution that comes from slowing down and looking more deeply at familiar places. It touches on photography not as an act of accumulation\, but as an ongoing process of perception—one shaped by patience\, presence\, and a willingness to engage with the medium beyond immediacy and spectacle About: Ashwini Kumar Bhat Ashwini Kumar Bhat is a nature and landscape photographer who has been exploring photography as a deeply personal form of expression for almost two decades. His work is guided by emotion and perception rather than spectacle\, often finding meaning in familiar landscapes and natural elements. His images have been featured in national and international books and magazines. He was awarded Photographer of the Year by Nature in Focus in the past. He is a founding member of the photography collectives Creative Nature Photography and Landscape Wizards. He writes occasionally at sumasuta.blogspot.com. https://www.creativenaturephotography.net Blog: https://sumasuta.blogspot.com Language: English Request you to join the session 15 minutes prior to check your audio and video functionality.
