DESCRIPTION:YPS Wildlife Week Meet | Wildlife Photography/Documentary | Sunday\, Oct 04\, 2026 | Google Meet Presentation and Talk by: Mohan Thomas Mohan Thomas presents photographs from his journeys across forests\, varied habitats\, and landscapes. Wildlife images sit alongside portraits of the people he has encountered along the way. The presentation offers a view of his developing practice in wildlife documentary and the experiences behind his photographs. \n\n\n\nAbout: Mohan Thomas Mohan Thomas is a Bengaluru-based wildlife and nature photographer whose passion for the natural world has taken him from the forests of India to some of the world’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. His photography journey was rekindled during a visit to B.R. Hills in Karnataka\, leading him to explore places such as Bandipur and Kabini\, as well as the Maasai Mara in Kenya\, the Pantanal in Brazil\, Kamchatka in Russia\, and Svalbard and Finland. An engineer by profession who works in the construction industry\, Mohan has pursued photography as a lifelong passion. His work encompasses wildlife\, nature\, macro\, and landscape photography. His photographs capture intimate\, fleeting moments in the wild and encourage a deeper appreciation of nature and wildlife. He received the Muthukulam Raghavan Pillai Award in 2015 for wildlife photography and is recognised as a Nikon influencer.
