Insects & reptiles are Eshanya’s pet subjects & he has a keen interest in getting detailed information about nature’s creation. \n \nAbout the Speaker\nMr. Eshanya Shama \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nEshanya Sharma hails from Sagara\, Karnataka which is nature’s abode\, he is a passionate wildlife photographer. His photography journey started in 2012\, when he was still in 8th standard\, Mr. Satish [Photographer] of Sagar gifted him Powershot camera\, for having helped him identify birds\, insects & Reptiles which are Eshanya pet subjects & also has keen interest in getting detailed information about nature’s creation. Since he did not have DSLR in the beginning\, he had to approach subjects from near quarters. He pursued his passion and now acquires Nikon D7200\, Nikkor 70-300 & Tamron 90mm Macro lenses. \nHe has been featured in Discovery official page and also won awards in Fotorbit & Beyond Vision. His profile on Instagram shows variety of species he has covered so far.\nPresently he is working for idea – Mysore in 3D animation.”\n\n\n\n\n-YPS Executive Committee

The Salon in Focus will be conducted by none other than Mr. H Satish\, President YPS who has more than 875 Salon wins awards and has been part of jury in more than 50 National and International Salons. The  Salon in Focus for this week is the “YPS International Salon 2019“. \nThe “Salon In Focus” program is aimed at increasing participation and winning by YPS Members in National and International Salons.  This will be achieved by\, \n\nforming and nurturing salon focused group\ncritically reviewing pictures with specific salons in mind\nsharing and learning ideas for collective growth of the entire group\ncelebrating successes from Salons\neliminating duplication and competition from within the group thereby the chances of success for the entire group is enhanced\n\nMy Actions\nSalon in Focus for this session is “YPS International Salon 2019”. \n\nYPS International Salon 2019 accepts pictures under 6 (4 Digital and 2 Print(Closed)) categories. Identify and shortlist no more than 8 pictures under each category that you plan to submit.\nResize the selected images in the resolution that the Salon has stipulated (maximum 1920 pixels width and maximum 1200 pixels height) so that the images are ready for submission.\nCopy them on a pen-drive\, preferably under separate folders for each category\, and bring them to the venue.\n\nWhat will you get\nThe pictures will be projected in  native resolution. Mr. Satish will review the pictures and provide specific guidance regarding its strengths and shortcomings to help you decide on its submission. \nReach the venue on time and be prepared to stay till the end of the session. \n-YPS Executive Committee

The YPS Salon Committee wishes them all success. \nThe YPS Open Judging for the 6 sections will be held for 3 days from July 19th\, Friday at JP Nagar Cultural Association. This year we have Digital and Print sections totaling to 6 sections.  \nAs always\, all the sections will be judged using YPS Open Judging process in which the judging can be viewed by anyone. S R Mandal.\nOur next YPS Meet is a slideshow by Mr. S R Mandal on “Signatures”. \nAbout the Speaker\nMr. S R Mandal\, EFIAP\, ARPS\, FFIP\, Hon. FICS\, Hon. FSWAN\, Hon. FIP \n\n\n\n \nAn eminent photo artist and a well know photographer\, Mr. Mandal’s works have been exhibited in more than 50 countries all over the world. He has won over 1250 Acceptances and 250 Awards from different National and International Salons. He is winner of multiple Lalit Kala Academy Awards. \nA 1951 Calcutta born\, commerce graduate started pictorial photography in 1980. All his photographs are Monochromatic and surrealistic in nature and the same has been manually composed and blended without any digital improvisation. \nApart from participating in different Exhibitions his solo/ one man show ‘Renaissance’ has been showcased in different places. \nKnown as a vivid photo critic and a versatile jury\, participated in more than 400 National & International Salons / Exhibitions and in different photo competitions including several Lalit Kala Academy Awards. \nHe is an Executive Committee Member of Photographic Association of Bengal. \nHe has also delivered lectures and educated young generation with techniques of modern photography in several workshops organized by different photographic organization. His continuous endeavour to learn and share  with present generation helped more than 100 successful candidates to achieve EFIAP\, AFIAP\, ARPS\, AIIPC\, FFIP\, ESFIAP\, GPA\, PESGSPC\, MFIP\, ESFIP and other fellow distinctions in last 40 years. \n-YPS Executive Committee

Subsequent to obtaining his Diploma in Photography from Indian Academy\, Mumbai\, it turned into his passion. Pictorial Photography is his main field of interest. \nIn the initial years\, The Photographic Society of India (Psi) was the institution that taught\, guided and allowed Mr. Marathe to display his amateur skills. However from thereon\, the Society has been a part of his journey\, has remined his pillar of strength and has been providing him all the timely support and erecting a platform for him to showcase his works receiving international recognition. \nMr. Suniel Marathe has been participating in International and National photography competitions since 2008. In the decade of participation\, he received 6500 Acceptances and 550 Awards from National & International Salons held in 53 countries.\nHe gained the much coveted MPSA honor in 2018.\nHe is an employee of the prestigious Bhabha Atomic Research Centre\, Mumbai as a Scientific Officer.\nHe has been nominated as the Assistant ROPA Director by PSA.\nHe has judged 25 National and International contests.
