SUMMARY:YPS Saturday Meet – Creating Conceptual Composites
DESCRIPTION:YPS Saturday Meet | July 02\, Sat | 6:30 PM IST | State Youth Centre\n\nComposite photography is all about combining multiple elements from different images and blending all together in a single image. \nThis presentation is about how to conceptualize elements and turn it into a Composite Photograph. Join H Satish and Arjun Haarith as they take you into the world of making composite photographs. \n\n\nAbout the Speakers\nMr. H Satish\, MFIAP\,MICS\, ARPS\, FICS\, cMOL\, GPA.PESGSPC\,  Hon.FICS\, Hon.YPS\, Hon. PESGSPC\, Hon. ECPA\, Hon.CPE \n \nH Satish\, presently the president of YPS has a long career in photography.  He says “I am a crazy traveler\, and a prolific Art Photographer\, who loves to mingle with like minded friends and am a great foodie. I have been in the field of photography for  40 years\, and  a YPS member from 1981- thus completing 40 long years in this No.1 Photography Club of India. I am continuing my hobby and profession – Photography and love to share my images and little knowledge with those who seek.”  \nThe art of playing with light and presenting things ordinary in extraordinary perspective\, the portrayal of nature in its finest detail\, and to capture the various human emotions in all its glory is what distinguishes Satish. The urge to play is natural to any child\, but to play with light and bring forth beautiful images at the age of 12 is sheer prodigy. It is this gift that made him take up cinematography in his academic stint. It was during his graduation that he started to capture nature in all its glory. He got appreciation and awards in both nature and pictorial sections of photography contests the world over. \nHe is the first Indian to be honored with EFIAP and MFIAP in Nature color prints; one of the highest honors in the photographic world. \nHe is the first Indian to get two Masters from international federations\, in Nature photography. \nThe Karnataka Lalitkala academy has conferred on him the title of “State Artist”. \nVisit his website https://www.hsatish.com to view his wonderful works!\nIG: https://www.instagram.com/hsatishblr/ \n  \nMr. Arjun Haarith \nMr Arjun Haarith is from the beautiful city of Bangalore and currently working as a Sr. Lead Software Engineer at Adobe in the Lightroom team.  \n His father\, Mr Gowrishankara is a multi-faceted personality who has been an immense inspiration. His father was working as a Senior Manager in HAL and is now retired and had various hobbies and Arjun always used to wonder how his father could concentrate on them while he was still working. His father inspired him to be a traveler and he has traveled to many places in India and Nepal with his father. His mother Mrs. Gayathri is a homemaker and a very good classical singer. So\, this quality of hers attracted him towards Music and he plays Keyboard occasionally. \n During his childhood (probably when he was around 7-8 years of age)\, he used to accompany his uncle Mr H Satish who is a very famous wildlife photographer (is currently the president of the prestigious club Youth Photographic Society) during his bird watching trips. This particular exposure ignited his liking towards Nature. \nUnder his guidance he started pursuing photography from 2006-07 and the journey is still continuing.Though he has tried his hands in various genres\, it is Wildlife and Landscape photography that has had a special place in his heart. He has been trying Astro Photography recently\, and that too has a special impact on him.  \n He has won more than 175 awards in both National and International Salons from over 30+ countries with over 1200 acceptances and some of his images are published in  many journals\, calendars and magazines. \n Facebook/Instagram/Twitter handles:  \nhttps://www.facebook.com/arjun.haarith/ \nhttps://www.instagram.com/arjun_haarith/ \nhttps://twitter.com/ArjunHaarith \n blogs: http://arjunhaarith.blogspot.com/   \n\nLanguage: Kannada/English \nCovid Protocol for the event\nWhile there are some relaxations to curfew times\, we are still required to follow all the precautions that the Government of Karnataka has prescribed.
