DESCRIPTION:YPS Saturday Meet | Jun 10\, Sat | 5:30 PM IST | S3 E 6| Google Meet\nParticipation in salons culminates in earning distinctions.  As a salon participant have you wondered about how the jury rate your pictures? What they look for?  or do you aspire to be in a juror’s seat?  This presentation and talk will dwell upon all that you should know about the process of judging pictures. \n \nAbout the Speaker: \nMr H Satish\,\nD.cine\, MFIAP\, MICS\, ARPS\, PPSA\, cMoL\, GPA.PESGSPC\n\n\n\n\nHe is the first Indian to be honoured with EFIAP and MFIAP in Nature colour prints and the youngest Indian to get MFIAP. He is also the first Indian to get two master’s distinctions in the Nature section\, from international photography bodies.\nHe has judged more than 35 international and 40 national salons. His pictures have graced all the guidebooks published by ‘Outlook Traveller’ and ‘Today- Travel Plus’ magazines.  He has contributed calendar spreads to WWF\, BEML\, BHEL\, MICO\, MCF and Canara Bank. Andhra Pradesh Photography Academy has published a book on his wildlife photographic journey. Till date\, he has won 978 national and international awards. Join the outing to learn macro photography\, showcase the beauty and make artistic images of insects around us. \nLead: Mr S Chandrashekar\nMr S Chandrashekar AFIAP\, is a Life Member of YPS.  He has been a member since 1987 and has been into photography since the analog cameras and has special interest in Pictorial\, Landscapes and Macro Photography. He enjoys taking pictures from the usual places around and believes in simplicity in both the tools used and the subjects chosen.\n\nHe is currently leading the YPS Macro Subcommittee\, and has served YPS in following capacities – Vice President\, Secretary and Jt.Secretary.\n\nHe has judged for State\, National and International photo contests. A keen interest in native fish of our land has helped document new species. He is interested in all genres of photography. Nature photography\, especially Macro has been his passion for many years.
