About the Speaker

Mr Mukesh Srivastava
FIE, FFIP, EFIAP

An engineer turned photographer, Mr. Mukesh Srivastava has traversed the gamut in his journey from the film to the digital age. With the dawn on digital photography, Mukesh embarked on a new trajectory which has won him critical acclaim and accolades from around and across the globe. Hailing from the beautiful, colorful and rustic city of Ajmer, Rajasthan, he is known for his ken eye on the culture and landscape of the state. His love of the city of sand-dunes, camels and caravans has bestowed him numerous honors and achievements.

Mukesh is a qualified Engineer with a post graduate degree in Digital Electronics from IISc Bangalore. An Ex-Director, Govt. of India, he is currently a freelance professional photographer with expertise in all genres of photography. Home and family are based in the “Coal-City” of Dhanbad, Jharkhand.

One of his passions has been to travel, and around the world he has traveled with his camera… not only to capture photographs but to experience the raw expression of the people around the world. He has more than 15000 images in stock.

He is the first author to write a book on “DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY”, which was published in 2012, with a second edition in 2015 and the third upcoiming in 2021.

Images by Mukesh have been licensed by companies across the world for greeting cards and other creatives. His images are also published in NatGeo Magazine, The Lonely Planet, Syndic Literary Journal, Better Photography, Smart Photography, Outlook Business and many more.

Mukesh has served as a juror on many photographic salons and competetions, and has participated in innumerable contests too with awards galore, some of which are mentioned below….
