Presentation by: Sangram Govardhane
An artist, sculptor, architect, and photographer, Sangram has always strived to find creative satisfaction in everyday work and artistic pursuits.
As part of DCP Expeditions, he has traveled extensively across the length and breadth of India, exploring diverse landscapes and wildlife. In this presentation, he will share his journey from being a young, introverted village boy to becoming a recognized photographer, highlighting the key factors that shaped this transformation.
The session will feature a blend of his mainstream wildlife work alongside images captured with unconventional approaches that bring out fresh, creative perspectives.

About: Sangram Govardhane

Sangram Govardhane is an eclectic photographer with his niche in wildlife captures.
His sombre yet vivid persona also defines his style in capturing the world around in his lens, as he moves quietly as one of their own in forests and sees most of what we miss on streets.
Technically sound and efficient in understanding the immediate environments, Sangram’s images freeze the moments of silent life within running lives.
He is vigilant and persistent in his maneuver and toils hard to achieve what he does in his photographs, going an extra mile that makes a difference.
As he says often, expensive equipment doesn’t give great photographs, it’s the eye behind the lens and hands holding the camera that create a ‘moment’ out of mundane.
He serves as a panel member and strategic consultant at DCP (Documentation Conservation Photography), one of India’s fastest-growing wildlife and travel photography training academies.
He is also the convenor of the DCP Nashik Chapter. Through DCP, Sangram conducts photography workshops, photo walks, and wildlife camps, and plays a key role in organizing exhibitions and outreach initiatives.
DCP is widely recognized for its distinguished panel of photographers and experts in allied fields.
In addition to his photography, Sangram is a practicing architect and founder of Meeti Architects, based in Nashik.
