Dṛṣṭi, the YPS Journal, wins the prestigious Arthur P Henricks Memorial Award, the topmost award at the PSA Newsletter Contest, for the 2nd time!
The Arthur P Henricks Memorial Award honors Photographic Society of America’s (PSA) President from 1975-79. This award is made to the publication with the highest score.
The Newsletter Contest draws many entries from photographic clubs across the globe. All entries are reviewed by a panel of three judges and the awards are determined based on criteria in three areas: Presentation, Production, and Content.
The Mar-Apr 2025 issue of Dṛṣṭi, which was submitted for this contest, was ranked #1 with Top Scores, bagging the Arthur P Henricks Memorial Award.

- While I’m not a fan of columns, your three-column layout is consistent throughout your magazine.
- Your fonts are well chosen
- Your cover is stunning!
- The masthead with the colorful logos is a wonderful lead-in to your magazine.
- Congratulations on giving that incredible photo center stage to invite the reader to turn the page.
- The Table of Contents (with links!) is very helpful as are the red corner tabs alerting the reader to the type of article on each page.
- Footers and page numbers are also much appreciated.
Production:
- You have included some terrific photos.
