Anitha’s interest in photography was piqued at an early age but was limited to shooting for memoirs sakes. Her interest was further fueled when she acquired her first digital SLR, and she then began to experiment with various genres of photography. Birds drew her interest like none other. At the same time, the opportunities she got to travel through her IT career fired her imagination in Travel and Street photography.

Anitha Mysore was introduced to YPS in 2016. Her association with the stalwarts of YPS not only brought her into the world of salons but also introduced her to Fine Art Photography.

Henry Ford said “Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young.” Drawing from this quote, Anitha Mysore believes that one is never too old to learn. And every day is a day of learning.

Her participation in National and International Salons for more than five years now has brought her laurel and accolades. Her works have been exhibited in more than 50 countries and she has over 6500 acceptances and 600 awards to her credit. She is also active as a jury member for many national and international salons.

She has been playing the role of Interclub Representative of YPS for the last two years. She was also the Salon Secretary for YPS International Digital Salon 2022.

Anitha was listed among the top ten of FIP’s Who’s Who for 2018. She appeared in PSA’s Who’s Who for 2018 under the Photo Travel, Nature and Photojournalism divisions and in 2019 and 2020 under Open Color, Open Monochrome, Nature, Photo Travel and Photojournalism divisions.

She is a member of the Federation of Indian Photography (FIP), Photographic Society of America (PSA), Global Photographic Union (GPU), Australian Photographic Society (APS) and The Royal Photographic Society (RPS).
