Camera sensor which is ‘Behind the Scene’ is rarely studied and understood.
Have you ever wondered how it works! Do you know what Photosites and Pixels are? Do you know about CMOS vs CCD? What are the different kinds of CMOS sensors? How does the sensor identify colours? Does sensor size matter? How is dynamic range defined?
Dr Hitesh Patel in his presentation will demystify the Sensor and answer the innumerable questions that are bound to crop up!

About The Speaker
Dr Hitesh Patel, MD
Born and brought up in Surat, Dr Hitesh Patel has immense attachment toward nature. This love for nature brought him to Vyara, a small tribal town of southern Gujarat. A doctor by profession (M.D. Physician) he runs a hospital in Vyara. As a physician he served mankind in many catastrophic conditions like floods, earthquakes, plague and has won many awards. He has also been awarded by the Physician Association of India.
As a photographer, he started his journey in 2011 and has received many awards and recognition in various genres of photography like, astro, low-light, landscape, wild-life, macro, and portrait.
Dr Patel is a Fujifilm mentor (X-photographer, Influencer) and has conducted many workshops. His works have been published in various magazines like Saevus Wildlife India, Pranvayu, Wild Sojourns and others. They have also been exhibited in various art galleries of Gujarat as well as in Nehru Planetarium, Delhi.
Having semi-retired from his profession as a physician, he decided to spend his time doing photography and as a photography mentor. This has been a turning point in his life or can even be termed as rebirth. He wishes to spend all his time with a camera instead of a stethoscope!
