25^th October is Ayudha Puja, when we take care of the machines, devices, and instruments that we use on a day to day basis. This is one day, when we can and need to spend a bit more time and afford our TLC (Tender Loving Care!) to the equipment that helps us capture our imagination!

A good camera calls for a pricey investment, especially if it’s a DSLR or mirrorless model with a collection of lenses and peripherals you’ve built around it.

If you want your camera and lenses to continue delivering great results for years and years, you need to take good care of it. Fortunately, this isn’t difficult to do, just keep the following tips in mind.

• Protect the sensor
• Your shirt is not a suitable cleaning cloth
• Keep it capped
• Buckle up
• Do not be left without your bag
• Memory is precious
• Charge it up before a shoot
• The three-legged thing should be reliable and ready

We will focus on the following caring tips and techniques:

• Camera and Sensor care
• Lenses maintenance and care
• Tripod cleaning, lubing and care
• Bag needs and care
• Battery charging, maintenance, and care

This session will be “VERY” INTERACTIVE. To get the most out of the session, Register and POST YOUR QUESTIONS.

3. Enter your YPS Member ID & Password
4. Click on Login
5. Click on Enter/Update
6. Click on Register – (required to join)

Note: Registration is free but mandatory

Some Google Meet Self-Disciplines to be followed to make the experience memorable for everyone:

• Do not interrupt when something is being presented. Keep a note of questions and ask them at the end when moderator opens the floor for questions.
• Keep your lines muted when not talking or asking questions.
• Keep your question and discussions brief and to the point.
• If you cannot get the required answer in two discussions, take them offline with the panel member.
• All pictures to be discussed should be uploaded here before the end date. We cannot receive pictures over WhatsApp or email for discussion.
