Blue city – The fabled part of the old city of Jodhpur is a paradise for travel photographers. The opportunity it gives is to be believed when visited personally. The colour blue, like the colour red, attracts Mr Satish and thus, Blue city, a very beautiful place, is close to his heart.
Making pictures when the stars are out and everyone in your part of the world is sleeping, is an experience that can be addictive. For a second time in two years, Drsti has received many accolades from the jury of PSA 2022 Newsletter contest.
This contest draws many entries from photographic clubs across the globe and participating clubs compete in two sections: Small Clubs and Large Clubs. YPS, by virtue of its number of members, falls under ‘Large Clubs’.
The Jan-Feb ‘22 issue of the newsletter was submitted for the contest and it has been adjudged as having the Best Banner and Best Layout. One of the articles in this issue under ‘Just Grasp It’: ‘Basic Portrait Photography Lighting’ by Mr. Ashok Kandimala was adjudged as the ‘Best How-To article’. YPS’s Executive Committee congratulates Drsti’s Editorial Team for bringing these international accolades to the club. It also thanks and congratulates Mr Kandimala for contributing this commended article.
