Our next YPS meet is by Mr. Raju A K who will present an insight into Portraiture.
Lighting faces is a foundation that opens doors to light any varied subject. Because human faces are watched, scrutinised and evaluated closely by all, flaws are caught instantly. While we see pictures of other species being lit, mistakes in their lighting is not objected to, either by the subjects, or any of it’s well wishers. Don’t forget Photography started because portrait painters and artists wanted a reference outline to make their portraits look more authentic.
