Dr Satyaprakash who has been on the Mount Kilimanjaro and EBC treks, recently undertook a 12 days trek to Annapurna and Mardi Himal Base camps which were an unforgettable adventure that took him through breathtaking Himalayan landscapes and quaint tea houses. It was nothing but excitement navigating steep mountain trails, crossing suspension bridges and acclimatising at high altitudes

Highlight of the treks is witnessing the golden sunrise over the majestic mountain ranges. Despite facing challenges like acute mountain sickness and unpredictable weather, the experience teaches the importance of perseverance and being humble in front of the majestic mountains

About the Presenter:
Dr Satyaprakash B S

A consultant Gastroenterologist practicing at Vijayanagar Bangalore for the last 10 years, he has served as the Professor and Head of the Department of Gastroenterology at the M S Ramaiah Medical college and hospital Bengaluru for  over 30 years with deep involvement in teaching, academics and research. After retirement from the academic work in clinical medicine he developed interest in travel, trekking and photography. All the new found interests helped him to enjoy nature and to keep physically fit. He says “There is no better way to understand God and His creation other than travel and photography.”
