Wildlife, especially birds, are a favorite for many photographers. Photographer-cum-Forest official, Mr KMB Prasad will showcase the very interesting lifestyle of the colorful Indian Roller which is the state bird of Karnataka, Odisha and Telangana.

About the Presenter:

KMB Prasad, ARPS, AFIAP

Mr KMB Prasad, from Bengaluru is a graduate of science. After completing his mandatory training at Chandrapura, Maharashtra, he joined the Forest Department.

Prasad took to photography in 1992 and has earned ARPS & AFIAP distinctions. His photographs were featured in the Biennial Photography World Cup competitions in different countries. He has also bagged many awards and acceptances in state, national and international level photography competitions.

During his career in the forest department, he worked as Range Forest officer in BRT Wildlife Sanctuary and Bandipur National Park. In 2014 he retired as Deputy Conservator of Forest, Jungle Lodges and Resorts, Bengaluru.

He also worked in the taskforce formed by the Karnataka Government to capture the most dreaded brigand, Veerappan and his associates.
