About The Speaker
Dr. Manoj C Sindagi MD, ARPS
Dr. Manoj C Sindagi’s journey to become a wildlife photographer was born out of a love and fascination from a young age, with the natural world. He started photography as a hobby in 1984 and that hobby continued throughout his Medicine undergraduate & postgraduate years.
Dr. Sindagi joined the Youth Photographic Society (YPS) in 1997. He was able to channelise and hone his photography skills by the many interactions he had with fellow photographers and the guidance received from senior members of YPS. He has served as a Director and Secretary of the Youth Photography Society.
He uses the medium of photography to capture and share the amazing events he witnesses in Nature. His intention is to use these reflections of the Natural World to bring about an awareness in people about the importance of conservation and the need to preserve our Natural Heritage.
Being tech savvy, Dr. Sindagi, constantly explores the newer possibilities in camera and lens technologies. He keeps educating himself and fellow photographers in the latest nuances, in the different aspects of image capturing and processing.
