Photojournalism
“Photojournalism is a form of journalism that uses images to tell a story” – Wikipedia
When you close your eyes and think of something significant that happened last week, you see an image of what happened – may be your child yawning, your team winning a game, your son traveling abroad, your mother blessing you, your first car waiting to be driven … We think and live in pictures.
“A Picture is worth thousand words”
Then why is it so difficult to get such pictures in your camera? How do you capture that fleeting moment which leaves a lasting impression in our mind? How to add drama to commonplace happenings to make them convey the story?
These are the questions that will get answered in the next YPS Meet on July 16, Saturday at 6:30PM in the YPS Hall, Kanteerava Stadium. The person to show you how would be Mr. K Murali Kumar, Special News Photographer, THE HINDU.
