Mr Pushpendu Paul
EFIP, EFIAP, GPA.PESGSPC, Hon.PESGPC

Pushpendu Paul is a Kolkata based Photo Artist.  He started photography in the year 1999, with a Kodak Kb 10 camera.  After 2007 he moved to digital cameras and in 2010 bought a DSLR.  After graduation he did a diploma course from Light & Shadow, an Institute of Photography in Kolkata, under the guidance of Mr. Subhasish Banerjee, EFIAP. 

He took up photography as a profession in 2014 and started participating in salons and contests. He personally likes street photography which portrays a story. Though street photography is his favorite, he also loves to travel around India and has conducted many workshops in Kolkata. Currently he is the Secretary of Light & Shadow club. 

Achievements: Since 2014 he has achieved over 600+ awards from national and international salons and has exhibited in more than 50 countries. He is also a winner of many ‘best entrant’ and ‘best Indian entrant’ awards. He has won many gold medals from federations such as FIAP, PSA, FIP, and RPS.  He is a winner of second award, the only winner from Asia,  at Mental Health Contest 2018, organized by Iran.  He is also a winner of Photographer of the Year Contest in 2017 and 2019, organized by world photographers club. His winning spree continued with the Janta Curfew Contest organized by FIP during the 2020 pandemic and he has also won many more contests.
