We always think of studios and lights when it comes to portraits of people, though most of us take pictures of people in broad daylight. Mr. Mohammed Arfan Asif, YPS Hon Member residing in Dubai, has taken many award-winning images using naturally available ambient light. See Mr. Asif’s website for more pictures.
In this workshop, Mr. Asif along with Mr. Satish, President, YPS, will demonstrate and let you practice some of the techniques that they use effectively to produce those stunning portraits using natural day light as the source.
The workshop will be spread over 2 early-mornings starting at 7am and ending with discussions by around 10am. YPS plans to use models or mannequins to demonstrate techniques of lighting in highlights and shadows to produce those pleasing pictures.
Participants are encouraged to bring their cameras with portrait lenses (70mm to 200mm) to participate in practical sessions.
The workshop comes at a nominal cost of Rs. 1000 for both the days covering breakfast. Registration and Payment is online.
