From mountains with bounty of water and trees to desert is a 360 degree turn that a Photographer must make. A team of YPS Members attended a Desert Photography workshop in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan in September 2016. The photographers realized that it is a completely different experience to shoot desert and people who live in Desert. Mr. Satish, President YPS, Mr. Girish Ananthamurthy, YPS Director and Mr. Murali Santhanam, YPS Vice President will share their experience and learning in this session.

We had an excellent turnout at the Landscape Session by Shri. Goutham Ramesh. The participants had a chance to see some excellent images from Goutham taken at Munnar, Valparai and at Kausani, Uttarakand. The slideshow was followed by some interactive discussions on techniques, post-processing and equipment used for Landscape Photography.

YPS Meet | Feb 17 | State Youth Centre
We had a very interesting and informative session at YPS this Saturday with Shri. K S Rajaram taking the participants through an enticing journey back in time to the days when pictures were taken using cameras with an 8×6 inch glass plate as film at the back and mounted on wooden tripods. He navigated through timeless Black & White pictures of the American Landscape Photographer Ansel Adams and the Canadian Portrait Photographer Yusuf Karsh.
