Since last year, photography enthusiasts have been restricted in avenues for photography. No photography outing arranged by the club, no company to go out and shoot pictures, no wildlife safaris, and no parks to visit, due to the restrictions posed by the ongoing scare of Covid-19 pandemic. This has allowed many of our members to explore avenues within their reach, including indoor photography, macro photography in and around their house, glassware, water droplets, and such. During this time, a session on ‘oil on water photography’ came as a much-needed session to open another path for enthusiastic members.

GRAND FINALE OF 2019 – YPS ALL INDIA DIGITAL SALON 2019

As the year 2019 is coming to an end shortly, YPS had their 37th All India Digital Salon close with the exhibition of pictures on 21st and 22nd December 2019.   The event was held at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, the gallery very close to the heart of all art lovers of Bengaluru. The exhibition opened with 48 awarded pictures, 36 from general category and 12 from youth category, on show.

Passion and dedication to the Art of Photography has brought laurels to YPS in the form of 60+ Best Club Awards from National & International Salons, not only from within the country but from other countries as well. All this in a span of less than two years, which is a National Record!

YPS is celebrating this success with an exhibition, BEST OF THE BEST – Award winning images from Salon Participants Group.

The exhibition is open to the general public.  Come with family and friends for a visual treat of awards winning images.

The exhibition will be on view from December 14th (Saturday) to 15th (Sunday)

To celebrate World Photography Day, YPS is holding an exhibition, FRAMES 2019 at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath on 16th 17th & 18th August, 2019. It is an excellent opportunity for you to showcase your images. We invite you to exhibit one of your best photos to showcase the work of YPS Members to the World!
