Hingara is a small village with beautiful surroundings: waterfalls and paddy fields. It is a great place for adventure lovers and most importantly macro subjects. Hingara is very close to Agumbe, which is the heart of western ghats, hence one can find many species of insects, frogs, butterflies and snakes. The stay at Hingara is very pleasant with home cooked food and hospitable hosts

What to expect in terms of Photography

In Hingara we will be walking in the forest and streams in search of insects, butterflies, and snakes. We intend to photograph many species of insects during night making it a lifetime adventure for many. You are assured of a lot of macro subjects so come prepared with plenty of memory cards!
