The Pantanal is the best place on earth to see wild jaguars, especially along the Cuiaba River. It is also home to capybara (the world’s largest rodent), giant otters and other exotic creatures like caiman, giant anteater, tapir, marsh deer, ocelots, and over 650 species of birds, including the jabiru stork – the symbol of the Pantanal! Simply put, the Pantanal is arguably South America’s finest wildlife-spotting destination!

A Journey through United States

YPS Saturday Meet | Mar 21, 2026 | 7:00 PM IST | Travel Photography | Google Meet

March 21 @ 7:00 pm 9:00 pm UTC+5.5

Presentation by: Raju A K

The presentation is about a remarkable journey by road that covered more than 3500 Kms in about 30 days through the city scapes of NewYork to the Pacific Shores along the legendary west coast Highway One.  Then the adventure turned inland to the glittering city of Vegas and then into the  canyon country of the United States landscapes shaped by time, light, and silence.

The vast depths of Grand Canyon National Park, the towering sandstone cliffs of Zion National Park, the surreal rock formations of Bryce Canyon National Park, and the sculpted beauty of Antelope Canyon. These landscapes, carved over millions of years by the persistent flow of the Colorado River and the forces of nature, form one of the most dramatic geological theatres on Earth.

This presentation is a glimpse into that journey — a road trip through towering cities,  time, light, and wilderness, where every sunrise, every canyon bend, and every starry night told its own story.
