Pages from the backyard diary – Either in urban or rural areas, every backyard is host to a lot living creatures. which have not been keenly observed and identified. Documenting these backyard creatures will help to get a sense of their routine and helps in their identification. This evening, Eshanya will talk about the creatures that were photographed around his house.
I am a city person, having been born in Mumbai,. Lived in Pune and now calling Goa as home. Much of me is Urban. And within this Urban chaos, I look for the ‘pause’ – the.moments.of stillness and calm, the small nuances that make up our world, the things that make me wonder and be curious about, everyday but not so common instances that I suddenly discover-from unseen to seen, and knowing…thus bringing a childlike joy. I am always looking for the smaller details in the bigger picture, and find happiness in the ‘small things’. I look for a reason to smile, and to share that happiness with one and all … says Ms Darpana Athale, an architect and a visual artist based in Goa.

Candid photography is one of the aims in Street Photography. Capturing life as it happens in the street is interesting but capturing ‘Life in every Face’ is what got Mr Amritpal Singh Luthra the title of Portrait King. Join the session to ‘see each of his portraits tell a story of their own.’
YPS as a Club is slipping down the ranks amongst inter-club competitions, while we are a quantitative juggernaut, we seem to be losing our Qualitative Edge.
Today Mr. Satish will attempt to analyze these categories of images and educate and encourage all of us to look within ourselves to improve the type of images we shoot, process, and submit to these contests.
