Touch Of RED – a sequel

YPS Hall Meet | Presentation | Saturday, 05 Jul | 6:30 PM | State Youth Centre

Presentation by: Satish H

“Color RED plays an important role in everybody’s life. It is a universal color, used by everyone for many aspects of life. Culturally and traditionally it is a color of belief, patriotism, and sacrifice. Red is the only color in the color palette used extensively for many purposes and it gives different meanings in each usage. Many Photo artists, by chance or by choice use a complementary color – particularly RED to give better dimension and meaning to their pictures. But I aim to create the same in a different way. There are 1000s of additional objects or subjects in RED, which can improve or give meaning to our pictures. So, I aim to educate people to use RED color subjects in a different way than as a mediocre RED”

TEST Your Lens Before You TRUST Your Lens

YPS Hall Meet | Practical Interactive Session | Saturday, 28 Jun | 5:30 PM | State Youth Centre

NOTE: All Members can get their lenses, UV Filters, ND,  Polarizer filters and one camera body along with a tripod.
At the program we will actually test your lens

Mentor: Raju A K

Testing a lens before field use is essential to verify optical performance and mechanical integrity. It helps detect issues like de-centering, focus shift, chromatic aberration, or inconsistent autofocus. Field conditions leave little room for troubleshooting, so pre-testing ensures the lens delivers expected sharpness, contrast, and focus reliability. This step also familiarizes the user with the lens’s behavior across apertures and focal lengths.  This way you know the boundary of the lens behaviour within which you can play around.
