August 19 is celebrated as World Photography Day to toast the creativity and nuances of photography that have captivated us for years. The day traces its origins to 1837 when the first-ever photographic process, the ‘Daguerreotype’ was developed by the Frenchmen Louis Daguerre and Joseph Nicephore Niepce
YPS has been celebrating this day with member exhibition combined with various activities. This year, on 10th and 11th August, we bring:
- 10 & 11 Aug, 11am-6pm : ‘FRAMES 2024 – Square It Up’ Exhibition of Member’s pictures printed on canvas
- 10 Aug, 3pm : ‘from Pole to Pole’ Presentation by Dr Ajit Huilgol
- 11 Aug, 11am – 6pm : ‘FoodFotografi’, an interactive session – On The Spot Shoot, Share & Win
Submission of pictures, exclusively for Members.
