Framing the Invisible is a dive into the fascinating world of photomicrography—where traditional macro stops, and the microcosmos begins. This session explores how microscope objectives can be repurposed to capture subjects at extreme magnifications. We’ll look at equipment setups, focus stacking, lighting techniques, and creative challenges involved in imaging the microscopic world. With real-world examples and practical insights, the presentation and talk aims to inspire participants to uncover beauty that’s normally hidden from the naked eye
The Himalayan ranges are a favorite of photographers, especially Indians due to its proximity to our country. Nepal not only has 8 of the world’s 10 tallest mountains but also a rich royal heritage, culture and history.
This presentation will cover the regions from Kathmandu, to Chitwan in the south-west to Muktinath in the lower Mustang region in the north, including a trek along the river Gandaki.
